Best for

Color-treated and lightened hair, especially when tone clarity fades faster than it should or shine turns cloudy between services.

Use it

As the preparatory wash on color days and after chemical services. At home, reach for it when hair feels draggy, looks hazy, or you suspect hard water interference.

Prismatic Lock. Always, on color days.

Why Preparation Matters

After color or lightening, hair can look finished and still behave unpredictably. Mineral residue, trace metals, and surface buildup scatter light, interfere with sealing, and accelerate fade.

If you seal over interference, the finish never fully stabilizes.

Prismatic Cleanse exists to remove what gets in the way — nothing more, nothing less.

What Makes Prismatic Cleanse Different

Most color-safe shampoos focus on gentleness alone. Prismatic Cleanse is engineered for preparation.

Clean without swelling

Most shampoos rough up the cuticle to get hair clean. Prismatic Cleanse doesn't. Hair ends up clean and calm, not clean and reactive. That's what lets every step after it land the way it should.

Removes what you can't see

Hard water leaves minerals behind. Color and lightener leave trace metals behind. Both are invisible. Both accelerate fade. Prismatic Cleanse binds them and rinses them away during the wash itself. Not a separate step. Built in.

Holds the hair at the right pH for sealing

Hair at the wrong pH won't hold a seal. Prismatic Cleanse finishes at pH 5.0, which is exactly where the cuticle needs to be before Prismatic Lock goes on. No guesswork. No separate prep step.

How It Works

Prismatic Cleanse does three things in a single wash.

It cleans. Gently, without roughing up the cuticle. Hair ends up clean and calm, not clean and reactive.

It removes interference. Minerals from your water. Trace metals from your color service. The things that look invisible but keep working against your finish in the background. Prismatic Cleanse binds them and rinses them away.

It ends at the right pH. Locked at 5.0, which is the state the hair needs to be in before Prismatic Lock goes on. No separate prep step. It's already done.

How to Use

Step 1 — Apply

Apply to wet hair immediately after rinsing color or lightener.

Step 2 — Lather

Lather thoroughly and massage into the scalp and hair.

Step 3 — Rinse

Rinse completely.

Step 4 — Continue

Proceed directly to Prismatic Lock.

What's Inside (and Why)

Prismatic Cleanse is not a stripping detox. It's not a conditioning wash. It's a preparation tool. The only job it has is to remove what blocks sealing so the rest of the protocol can do its job.

Three things make that possible. A cleansing system designed to be gentle on the cuticle. Chelation that handles hard water and trace metals during the wash itself. And a pH that finishes exactly where Prismatic Lock needs it to start.

When to Reach for Prismatic Cleanse

When color looks brighter at the appointment than it does a week later.

When shine turns hazy or cloudy between washes.

When hair feels draggy even after washing.

When you want Prismatic Lock to perform at its highest level.

Continue the System

Prismatic Cleanse prepares the fiber. Prismatic Lock delivers the reset and seal. Prismatic Veil protects the finish through styling and wear.

Use all three together on color days for the most stable, durable finish.
