Terms and Conditions


1. Program Overview:


OVID is delighted to provide your salon with inventory on consignment for a 90-day period.

We’re excited to partner with you to stock, display, and sell OVID products (“Consigned

Inventory”) at your premises. Ownership of the Consigned Inventory remains with OVID until

one of the options below is exercised at the end of the initial consignment period.


2. Consignment Period and Renewal:


  • Consignment Period: The consignment period is 90 days from the delivery date of the Consigned Inventory.


  • End-of-Period Options: As we approach the end of the 90-day period, we’ll reach out to discuss your preferences. You have the flexibility to choose one of the following options:


  1. Renewal: Extend the consignment for an additional agreed-upon period under the same or updated terms. We’re happy to continue supporting your business with our products.


  2. Purchase or Return:


  • Purchase: You may choose to purchase the remaining inventory at the agreed-upon wholesale price.


  • Return: You can return any unsold inventory to OVID, provided it is in like-new condition (defined below). If you have any questions about the return process, we’re here to help.


3. Definition of Like-New Condition for Returns:


Returning products is straightforward with us. To ensure a smooth process, please make sure that returned inventory meets the following criteria:


  • Packaging: Intact, with no tears, dents, or other damage.


  • Product Condition: Unused and showing no signs of wear, including scratches, marks, or other visible defects.


  • Completeness: All original components, accessories, and documentation are included.


  • Cleanliness: Free of dust, residue, or other signs of mishandling.


If you’re unsure about the condition of any item, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to assist! Please note that if returned inventory doesn’t meet these criteria, we may need to discuss purchasing options at the wholesale price.

4. Payment for Sold Products


For your convenience, payment for sold products is due at the end of the consignment period before we finalize renewal, purchase, or return options. We offer various easy payment methods to make this process smooth for you. Keeping payments timely helps us continue to provide you with the best service and products.


  • Replenishment Orders: Must be paid at the time of reorder via credit card or other accepted payment methods.


  • Sales Reporting: To serve you better and understand which products resonate most with your customers, we kindly ask that you keep track of product sales during the consignment period. Sharing this information with us helps in tailoring our offerings to meet your salon’s unique needs.

5. Inventory Maintenance and Condition


We appreciate your commitment to keeping the OVID products secure and in excellent condition. Your attention to product care ensures that your customers always have the best experience.


  • Maintenance: Please maintain the Consigned Inventory in a secure and salable condition.


  • Display: Ensuring products are prominently displayed in your retail area helps attract customers.


You’re responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged inventory, and we appreciate your efforts in safeguarding the products. If you ever need tips on display or security, we’re here to help!


6. Title to Inventory


Just a friendly reminder that the consigned inventory remains the property of OVID until sold in your salon or purchased outright. This helps us continue to offer you the latest products without interruption.


  • Security Interest: By participating in our consignment program, you acknowledge that OVID retains a security interest in the consigned products until payment is made for sold items. This allows us to continue providing high-quality products to support your business.


  • Prohibited Actions: Please do not pledge, assign, or otherwise encumber the Consigned Inventory as collateral.


7. Termination


As we approach the end of the 90-day consignment period, we’ll reach out to discuss your preferences for renewal, purchase, or return of the remaining inventory. We’re committed to finding the best option that suits your business needs. If no renewal or purchase is agreed upon, any remaining inventory can be returned or purchased in accordance with this Agreement.


8. Michigan State Law Compliance


This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. By joining the OVID Consignment Program, you’re partnering with us to bring quality products to your customers. We’re excited to support your business and are always here to assist you in any way we can.


9. Dispute Resolution


Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Michigan.

Salon Authorization

By signing below, you confirm that:


  • You are authorized to represent the salon.

  • You agree to the terms and conditions of the OVID Consignment Program.

  • You understand that all consigned inventory remains the property of OVID until sold or purchased outright.
